Companies in Vietnam are struggling to hire and retain top talent. The question is, what’s the best way to overcome this hurdle? Have you heard of the term employer branding? It is the “image that your prospective, current and past employees have in their minds about the employment experience at your company.” 

Why is it important to have employer branding? Well, companies that don’t establish an employer brand are an unknown factor for job seekers. The position may be interesting but, without knowing anything about the company, they’re more likely to apply for the same position with a better-known company. 

Consider this fact. Without an established brand, newly hired employers are also likely to switch to another company with an attractive brand. 

The Vietnam Best Places to Work Survey indicates a Talent Loss trend is still seen after becoming an employee, “at an alarming rate of 51 per cent of the workforce at a company. This trend once again confirms the importance of building a sustainable employer brand to minimise Talent Loss both before and after they join a company’s workforce.”
